What Is the Sons of Atlanta Vietnam War Memorial at Piedmont Park?
The Sons of Atlanta Vietnam War Monument and Memorial Experience is a full-scale tribute located near the northern edge of Piedmont Park in Midtown. It includes a tribute sculpture, a commemorative plaza built for ceremonies and gatherings, and a wall with the names of all 240 Atlanta-area veterans killed in action during the Vietnam War. It is the first dedicated Vietnam War memorial in any major U.S. city to be completed this late, opening in 2026.
